Solomon Brooks Eliot, Maine 1817 signed letter reducing the rank of a local man from Sgt. Major to Private due to neglect of duty. 1851 $50.00 Reward Poster for the person who set fire to the Spruce Creek Meeting House in Kittery, ME. Insurance Co. Aged copy of the Declaration of Independence from an insurance company. Large selection of Reference books on antiques and history.
OLD PAINTINGS: Framed 39 X 29 in. o/c of American ship at sea with two sailors aboard. W. Zeller signed 24 X 36 in. o/c of port scene with boats and buildings and bright sun on the horizon. Colorful 19 ½ X 7 ½ in. indistinctly signed o/p of flowered footpath. 9 ½ X 16 in. o/c of four grey kittens. 29 ½ X 25 in. o/c. 29 ½ X 25 in. o/c of pastured cows with female tender. 23 pencil drawings, some colored, a great many from Vassalboro, ME and many marked with the name Grover. 20 X 13 ½ in. Trompe L’oeil o/c painting of hanging string of peppers.
